Founders Breakfast Stout Now Available

It’s been a bit of a slow news day today, but here’s something that you’ll be sure to not want to miss out on: Founders Brewing Co. recently issued a press release announcing the official launch date for Breakfast Stout. The release date was September 21, so the beer should be available at some bars and retail outlets now.

“Say goodbye to sunburns and uninspired citrus-soaked summer pilsners,” reads the press release. “Founders Brewing Co. offers bold flavor for the craft beer palate this month with the arrival of this year’s Breakfast Stout, available on tap and in bottles across the 23-state Founders footprint beginning September 21.”

This marks the official opening of Stout Season!

I had the privilege of trying 2011′s Breakfast Stout at the beginning of the year, and had it not been for stumbling upon Green Flash’s Silva Stout a few months later, Breakfast Stout would’ve easily been my favorite tasting of the year thus far.

Keep an eye out for this awesome stout. It carries a $9.99 suggested retail price for a four-pack of 12-ounce bottles, and is listed at 8.30% ABV.
